A deal between Sainsbury’s supermarkets and York-based confectionery brand Wizards Magic will see the ‘big four’ retailer stock a CBD chocolate bar. The supermarket supports innovative brands through its ‘future brand trial bay’, and is taking a range of Wizards Magic lines on a trial basis for the next 16 weeks online and in-store.
Wizards Magic’s offering includes three CBD products: Wizards CBD, a 55g chocolate bar infused with 50mg of CBD, a mint chocolate version, and a CBD flapjack.
The company states that ethical, traceable sourcing of cocoa from West Africa is at the heart of its business, and it uses 100% recyclable packaging.
The board of directors includes former England rugby international Mike Tindall.
